Bubble atomizing technology originated in the 1990 s.Due to the advantages of its simple structure,good atomization,the little effect of liquid viscosity and low energy consumption,it has got widely used in the burning,painting,fire and other fields.In this paper,based on the characteristics of bubble atomizing nozzle low consumption,studied its application in cooling.By the methods of combining experimental and simulation,studied the flow characteristics,spray characteristics,the distribution features of the two phase flow in the mixing chamber of six different structures effervescent atomization nozzle,and has carried on the comparative study.This paper presents six effervescent atomization nozzles with different structure.And has set up a experimental platform to measure the related data of six kinds of nozzles.The experiment has respectively studied six effervescent atomization nozzles' flow characteristics,droplet size distribution and droplet velocity distribution,and analyzed the result of the experiment.On this basis,in this paper,two phase distribution of the different internal mixing chamber structure,velocity distribution and the nozzle exit speed of spray distribution are simulated by using the fluent.In order to complement and verify the result of the experiment.The study found that different mixing chamber structure has little influence to flow characteristic of effervescent atomization nozzle;Different effervescent atomization nozzle structure on the droplet diameter distribution and droplet velocity distribution has a great influence,appropriately increase length of the mixing chamber can help to reduce the average diameter of the droplets;Add a taper angle at the bottom of the mixing chamber is helpful to improve the uniformity of the droplet velocity distribution;Under certain conditions,six nozzles' s spray all exist a atypical velocity distribution that center speed is not attenuated;different mixing chamber structure has a little influence to two phase distribution,but had certain influence on the droplet velocity distribution;The energy consumption of effervescent atomization has been calculated,and has proved its low energy consumption characteristics.The structure of effervescent atomization nozzle has a great influence to the atomization effect has been considered in this paper.this finding has a great help for the future design of new nozzles.
