Study On Metallogenic Geological Conditions And Prospecting Potential Of Pakbeng Gold Mines In Oudomxay Province,Laos

Pakbeng Gold Mines in Laos'Oudomxay Province are located in Chinese Yunnan Sanjiang orogenic belt,the southern part of Qamdo-Simao-Namban Central metallogenic province,Gold metallogenic far scenic spotof Phongsali-Louangphabang-Xaignabouli,Gold mineralization concentrated area of Pakbeng-Paktha^[1,2].The gold ore bodies are mainly derived from silicified cataclastic granite of Yanshan period and near the inner and outer contact zone of Triassic altered andesite.Four mineralized alteration zones have been found at present.Circle one of the laterite gold deposits.Three of quartz vein type gold body.Two of schistose alteration rock gold ore bodies.Reserves have reached medium size.The metallogenic geological conditions.Obvious prospecting marks in this area are superior.It has better prospecting potentiality.This paper starts with the analysis of metallogenic geological background.The geological characteristics of the deposit are studied,Geochemical characteristics,Analysis of metallogenic geological conditions.The origin of ore deposits is discussed.According to the metallogenic geological condition and geology,geophysics,geochemistry of Comprehensive study of prospecting information,Determination of ore prospecting direction,Selected target areas for subsequent exploration,Prediction potential of ore prospecting,It has important theoretical and practical significance for the mineral deposits and even the exploration of geological and mineral resources in this area.
