With the deepening of oil and gas exploration,the focus of oil and gas exploration is gradually changing from the structural reservoir to the lithologic reservoir.As a crucial type of lithologic reservoirs,volcanic reservoirs are attracting a lot of attention from experts and scholars at home and abroad.Volcanic rocks are widely distributed in China,and geological reserves are very considerable.Volcanic oil and gas reservoirs have broad prospects for exploration.It has certain practical values in studying volcanic reservoirs.Volcanic oil and gas exploration has over 130 years in global history.Though more than 300 volcanic reservoirs or oil and gas display have been found worldwide,there is still relatively little research on volcanic rocks.Therefore,the research on volcanic reservoir definitely has an academic meaning.Volcanic reservoirs are characterized by many stages,large differences in inter well productivity,rapid water production,fast production decline,complex lithology and reservoir space.The above characteristics bring more challenges to volcanic reservoir research.The purpose of this paper is to make a comprehensive study of volcanic reservoir in the target area,and to make a qualitative and quantitative comprehensive interpretation and prediction of oil and gas reservoirs through a variety of information,such as geology,earthquake,logging,stress field and production dynamics,and summarize a set of research methods for volcanic rock reservoirs.According to the theory of fractured reservoirs,it is considered that the reservoir space of volcanic reservoirs is mainly dissolution pores and structural fractures.In this paper,the formation of volcanic rocks is preliminarily discussed,and three factors related to volcanic oil and gas reservoirs,which include near oil source,favorable lithofacies belt and favorable zone of fracture development.The main purpose is to clarify the main local structure and structural style of the study area and explore the geophysical anomaly marks related to the volcanic reservoir.Through the inversion and attribute analysis of the study area,combined with the portrayed results of the volcanic rock mass,the distribution characteristics of the volcanic reservoir are carried out,the distribution of lithology and physical property is clearly defined,and the favorable reservoir zone of the volcanic rock in the study area is determined.According to the analysis results of the tectonic stress field and the characteristics of fracture seismic response,the distribution characteristics of fractures in the study area are predicted.Based on the comprehensive analysis of the volcanic rock mass in the study area,combined with seismic and logging information,the characteristics of reservoir and caprock of volcanic reservoirs are cleared.Depended on the comprehensive oil and gas geological research project in the western margin of Greater Khingan Range,the geological characteristics of the ErLian basin and the characteristics of the lower Cretaceous oil and gas reservoirs are studied.Through the comprehensive application of seismic interpretation,inversion and conventional logging techniques,this paper has carried out a comprehensive study of volcanic reservoirs.
