Power system protection network is a new power communication network.The services on this network have the function of multiband and panoramic state perception with high accuracy.They can provide the multi-scenario,real-time and intelligent decision in the whole process.The failure in this network is a threat to the stable operation of the power network.Therefore,it is significant to do the research on vulnerability assessment on power system protection network and propose the targeted optimization methods,which can ensure the stable operation of the power system and enhance the robustness of the power grid.However,the current vulnerability assessment methods lack the consideration for service and availability indicator.The corresponding optimization methods do not give the routing optimization algorithm under different scenarios either.Aiming at above problems,a comprehensive vulnerability assessment and optimization methods are proposed.Firstly,the influence factors are analyzed from static and dynamic aspects respectively in the vulnerability assessment.Integrating these factors,the comprehensive vulnerability indicators are designed to assess the vulnerability of nodes and edges.Vulnerability balance degree is defined to represent the vulnerability level of the whole network.Then the vulnerability of nodes and edges is evaluated based on the weighted and undirected analog network A.The rationality of the evaluation model is verified by comparing the network performance decline curves with different attack models.Based on the result of vulnerability assessment,two optimization methods are proposed for two scenarios in the aspect of vulnerability optimization If there is no failure on the network,a routing optimization method is proposed through the reconfiguration for the service routes on the edge with high vulnerability,which can mitigate the vulnerability imbalance from initial service routes.In the link failure scenario,adaptive particle swarm optimization algorithm is adopted to reconfigure the service group on the failure link to achieve the goal of vulnerability balance in the whole network.Finally,the simulation experiments prove that the vulnerability optimization methods in two scenarios can achieve the goal of improving vulnerability balance and network robustness by reconfiguring service routes.The vulnerability assessment to power system protection network can point outthe weak links of the network and provide the basis for the further optimization plan.It can improve the robustness of the network without increasing the redundancy of the network devices through the route optimization with the target of vulnerability balance in different scenarios.
