Through the review of existing Doppler radar wind field retrieval techniques,we find that existing wind field retrieval techniques still have some imperfections in some aspects(especially in nonlinear wind fields and strong convection areas).In response to these problems,three nonlinear wind field retrieval techniques from Single-Doppler radar are proposed in this paper,through error analysis,it is found that the multi-constraint variation method is the best one in which the retrieval effect is the best and the retrieval error is the smallest.The multi-constraint variation method was applied to convective lines system to obtain the wind field structural characteristics,and then to enhance the analysis and forecasting capabilities.We analyze in detail the principle of wind field retrieval,the reliability of the algorithm and the application of the algorithm in the convective lines system research,and obtains the following conclusions:Compared with the inverse matrix method,the multi-constrained variation method results in a smoother output and is closer to the real wind field;Compared with the single-constrained variation method,the multi-constrained one is more computationally efficient,and avoids the situation where the radial velocity field is mistaken for ideal output.The error analysis of the retrieval results of the three algorithms through the three combination data shows that:Whether in a uniform wind field,a linear wind field,or a nonlinear wind field,the multi-constrained variation method has smaller error than the other two algorithms and can well demonstrate the wind in the nonlinear area.A comparison of wind field retrieval results with dual-Doppler radars(Jingzhou radar and Yueyang radar)in the "East Star" rapture event in Jianli,Hubei on June 1,2015 found:The retrieval results from the multi-constrained variation method are basically the same as the results from the Double-Doppler radar.They can both reflect the front inflow,the back inflow,the wind shear area,and the convergence area in the squall line system.
