Study On Effective Management Of Marine Protected Areas

In today's society,facing the increasingly serious pollution of the marine environment and the over-exploitation of marine resources as well as the destruction of marine ecology,it is particularly important to establish marine protected areas,make rational development and protection of marine and its resources,realize sustainable development between mankind and ocean.However,the development of marine protected areas in many countries is still in its infancy,paying too much attention to the protection of ecological environment on the protection target but largely ignoring the economic benefits of local social development,especially the local people's interests.With the rapid development of marine economy,the contradiction between the development of marine resources and the protection of marine ecological environment has become increasingly prominent.It is vital important to establish marine protected areas to achieve the sustainable use of marine resources,especially the protection of rare marine natural resources and the restoration of the healthy and sustainable development of the marine ecological environment.However,the construction and management of marine protected areas is a long-term and arduous task.There are still some problems between the development and protection of the oceans.Construction and management still need to be further improved.This thesis will make a comparative analysis of the construction and management of marine protected areas at home and abroad on the basis of an overview of the theory of marine protected areas.Inspired by the experience in the construction and management of marine protected areas in the United States and Australia,further thinking about the new way of developing and managing our marine protected areas,finally,taking Putuo Central Island Marine Special Protection Zone as an example,this paper is going to study the suitable strategies for the effective construction and management of marine protected areas in China.
