In recent years,under the joint action of the government and the market,China's national economic growth pattern has been transformed,The economic structure has been gradually transformed from the former industrial leading model to the service industry.With the booming of the service industry,the Less-than-Truck Load logistics also developed rapidly.,becoming an indispensable part of social logistics.With the continuous promotion of "cost reduction" strategy in the whole industry,how to plan a transportation network with efficiency and optimal cost has become the most concern of the logistics enterprises.Hub-and-Spoke network is a kind of logistics network,which is used to Centralize the traffic between nodes to nodes,in order to gain agglomeration effect,so as to increase the traffic efficiency and reduce the transportation cost.It is widely used in aviation industry and logistics industry.In this paper,the Hub –and-Spoke optimization problems are divided into two stages: location selection and transportation path optimization.First,use GIS space analysis method,Identify the environmental factors that affect hub selection,and establish a geographical spatial database by that factors.According to the specific requirements,do buffer analysis,overlay analysis,slope analysis,Determine the appropriate area for the hub selection and construct the hub alternative set.Then,based on the hub alternative set of GIS,the paper constructs a single distribution hub and spoke network model based on the minimum total cost,and designs a precise algorithm for solving the model.The last,based on distribution of single hub-and-spoke network model often occurrence of large-scale bypass the problem,put forward when O-D flow reaches the critical value between two nodes,establish direct route between two nodes as a solution,set up a hybrid hub-and-spoke network with point to point shipment and design the exact algorithm is proposed to solve and get the optimal transportation networkThis paper based on the chengdu HX less-than-Truckload logistics company as the research example,verification scheme has effectiveness,operation results show that the distribution of single hub-and-spoke network and can save 10.35% of operating costs to enterprises of the original transportation network,and improve of single hub-and-spoke network to hybrid huband-spoke network with point to point shipment,operation cost and can save 12.52% of operating costs to the original plan,this research has practical application value.
