Nanpo copper deposit locates in the southern of Lanping-Simao Basin in Mengla, Yunnan Province. It occurs in sandstone of Mankuanhe Formation, cretaceous system, Mesozoic erathern. It is a typical sandstone-type copper deposit.In this thesis, the research on the basis of previous data and field geological survey, the geology characteristics, geochemistry, ore-controlling factors and metallogenic regularities of the Nanpo copper deposit were further studied. According to these, the metallogenic prediction of the deposit were studied.And obtain the following results:1. The ore bodies is nearly stratiform and lenticle.It was obviously controlled by K2m stratum, lithologies and lithofacies.Part of ore bodies is vein-type controlled by faults. The ore structure is impregnation, stripped, horsetail filamentous, liamimae and thin veinconstructed.They show the characteristic of coaction of diagenesis and reformation.2. Through the research of Isotope geochemistry in Nanpo Copper Mine, it was founded that the change range ofδ34S is -7.88‰-36.8‰.It is the type of light-sulphur and has the characteristic of organis msulphur. The research on lead isotope shows that the lead in ore is mainly from upper crust. The age of ore is 102 Ma~122Ma.REE between ore and stratum is unified source and the same origin because their contents and distribution patterns which the curves are inclined towards right, slight loss o f Eu are simila, belong to light ree enrichment type.3. The research on the metallogenic factor and controlling factors for Nanpo copper deposit shows that the metallogenic factors of copper in this place include stratum(K2m),lithology(hoar sandstone), structure(Anticline wing, Secondary folds of the collapse site, Low-angle shear zone between layers and steep to near breaking things), wall-rock alteration (Carbonated evapo-salinization, carbonation, faded altered) etc. Among them, stratum and lithology are the most important controlling metallogeny factors.4. Through the research on geological conditions, ore-controlling factors, genesis and metallogenic regularities, on the basis of ore-prospecting for predicting, through the research of geophysical and geochemical characteristic on prospecting zone, presented two prospecting zone:70~78 Lines between Nanpo river and 102~118 lines at the north of the Nanpo river.
