As a nondeterministic phenomenon of deterministic system,chaos exists in various fields.With the expansion of the scale of the power system,the nonlinear characteristics of the power system are more and more obvious,and the stability problem caused by the chaos phenomenon is becoming more and more prominent.When the parameters satisfies some conditions,chaotic oscillation may occur in the power system,and with the increase of oscillation degree,it may result in the power system out of order,instability,and seriously endanger the stable operation of the power system.Therefore,it is of great significance to study the chaotic oscillation in power system.In this paper,a fourth-order power system chaos control methods are studied,the generation mechanism of chaos and control law of the chaos are analyzed,and we also obtain some research results.The main contents of this paper are as follows:(1)The research progress of chaos theory and chaos of power system are summarized and analyzed,and some existing problems are pointed out.The main research contents of this thesis are pointed out.(2)We summarize the definition and characteristics of chaos,analyze the method of judging chaotic motion,formulate the path to chaos,summarize some chaos control methods.(3)Several typical chaotic models of power system are studied,and the path of the power system to chaos is analyzed with the fourth-order power system as an example.(4)For the fourth-order power system,we analyze the influence of system parameters on the the system state,propose and validate several sets of parameters which can cause chaotic oscillation of the system,analyze the route to chaos based on time sequence diagram,and propose a method to search chaotic parameter points.(5)A feedback controller based on the finite time stability principle is designed for a class of fourth-order power system,and the numerical simulation shows the effectiveness and robustness of the controller.
