Vegetation simulation has always been an important subject in the field of virtual reality and computational simulation,with a wide variety of vegetation,rich and diverse external structures and complex growth process.Whether it is computer animation,large games,or virtual traffic simulation,military simulation and other fields,the generation of vegetation and the rendering of large-scale vegetation scenes are essential.In this paper,High fidelity tree vegetation is generated by professional plant modeling software,which is introduced into the simulation scene for large area rendering,in order to enhance the real sense of the whole simulation scene.The specific work is as follows:1?The construction of high fidelity plant model has been realized.The trees are divided into three parts,the trunk,the branch and the leaf by Speed Tree professional 3D vegetation modeling software which is based on the geometry and hybrid rendering technology.The different modeling methods can be used to restore the real scene of the tree vegetation,while reducing the polygon at the same time.Combined with related biological knowledge,various highly realistic vegetation models with biological characteristics can be further generated.2?The vegetation was rendered on a large scale.The scene management method is used to manage and store the model in the scene,and the vegetation model is optimized by using the detail level technology,so as to improve the efficiency of real-time rendering.Finally,through instantiation and other techniques to achieve large-scale rendering of vegetation in the scene,and a tree random distribution algorithm based on the algorithm of ceramic tiles is designed to make the distribution of trees conform to the natural law.3?Large-scale wind effect simulation of vegetation is realized.The dynamic simulation of natural scenes is still a difficult problem in the field of computer simulation.In this paper,Combined wind speed model is used to realize the generation of the wind field.The simplified deformation calculation of the trunk,branch and leaf is used to simulate the dynamic effect of the tree in the wind.Meanwhile,the dynamic simulation instantiation technology and GPU based acceleration technology are applied to achieve large-scale dynamic simulation of tree vegetation.The immersion of the scene is further enhanced.
