Hydrogen sulfide is widely found in living organisms and plays an important role in cell metabolism. It has an irreplaceable role in nerve conduction, blood pressure regulation, and inflammation regulation.Due to the unique physicochemical properties of H2S,it is impossible to use the general detection methods for accurate detection. With the continuous development of biomolecular detection technology, fluorescence detection has emerged, and it has gradually become one of the most eye-catching detection methods in recent years.A series of turn-on hydrogen sulfide fluorescent probes were designed and synthesized before and after modified by quaternary ammonium.By comparing the optical properties of fluorescent probes before and after quaternary ammonium modification and the application results at the cell level, the effect of quaternary ammonium modified groups on fluorescent probes was verified.Although quaternary ammonium modifications have been introduced into the design of fluorescent probes, hydrogen sulfide fluorescent probes using naphthalene diimide as the fluorophore and modified with quaternary ammonium have not been reported.Affected by the structure of the naphthalene diimide fluorophore, the modification of the quaternary ammonium did not improve the detection sensitivity of the fluorescent probe, but it improves water solubility and expands the range of applications of hydrogen sulfide fluorescent probes based on naphthalene diimide modified by quaternary ammonium.
