Study On Process Of Biaxially Oriented Polyester Film

Polyester is the polymeric substance of terephthalic acid and ethanediol. It is a kind of transparent or translucent polymer with smooth and shiny surface. Its English name is polyethyleneterephthalate,(PET for short). Polyester has good physical properties and mechanical propertie,it can be used in a large temperature range with excellent insulationthe creep performance still does not change in long times working above 100 ?, nor changing dimensional because of friction.The process of biaxially oriented polyester film is to put the into crystallization and dryingequipment,then the pure polyester slice is put into the extruder,becoming molten fluid formation after extrusion and heating process.The molten fluid passes through the filter and die with the help of casting roll.The casting film is heated by the heating system above the glass temperature below the melting point,and then getting into machine direction orientation system(MDO) and transverse direction orientation system(TDO). The casting film is stretched to thin film according to specified drawing ratio,and twined to winding roll by winder. After cut into specified specification by slitter,the final production is gotten.The production equipment described in this paper mainly produces various specifications of biaxially oriented polyester film and base film with thickness from 65-175?m.This paper aims to introduce, analyze the working principle and parameters of production process and equipment on biaxially oriented polyester film. Acorrding to long times maintenance experience and research,we can find out the existing main problems in production and solve problems.The production conditions and the quality of products can be improved to adapt to demand changes of market. The existing production process theory can also be replenished and improved during the period.
