YanQianshan Iron Mine of Anshan Iron Ore Mining Company is in the process of the ongoing open pit to the underground mining, the western end of orebody was seen as one of the main mining area for the transition period,Test induced caving mining method, the first mining segment is chosen in the +21m level above where occurs 30?100m thick orebody and contains the geological reserves of about 3.5 million t.Because the large geological reserves and various orebody thickness, in order to obtain the safe and effective mining results, whether its inducing caving construction or its recovery project, we need research reasonable control of the mine.The western end of the orebody to help induce recovery project engineering and structural parameters are using a large sublevel caving mining field structure, the segmented height is 18m, extracting drift distance is 20m.According to the existing research findings, after the induced caving project in the +21m mined, the upper ore of the goaf can be caved naturally,and a mass of the induced caving ore can be recycled in the +3m segmentation.In order to ensure the production safety and the process of caving mixed with waste rock, the ore removal model uses some ore as the cushion ply,by adjusting the height of ore caving to formate swell space which the caving ore needs, and to make sure the ore surface caving not to emerge large displacement when the caving ore caved. In this condition, the paper applied physics simulation experiment, researching the +3m stope ore removal control method and simulating different approaches of the mine stoping sequence effect with low-depleted mining, at last,we can obtain that two approaches a group go hand in hand stope,the ore recovery is high.The experimental results show that the first mining area induced caving stope method can be dual segmented structure under the condition of the west end orebody in YanQianshan iron mine,the first segment is to induce upper ore mining caving by forming large enough contiguous space,and the second segment is to make the caving ore fully recovered by adopting the reasonable control of the mining sequence and the mining way.The analysis shows that the induced caving method with dual segments which comparing with the non-pillar sublevel caving has a small quasi coefficient and a large production capacity and other advantages, it can be well adapted to the mining conditions of the western end in YanQianshan iron mine and get a safe and efficient mining targets.
