Mine locomotive unmanned systems is the trend and hot spot of current underground mining techniques. To upload the real-time video data to the ground control center, the unmanned locomotive running in mine tunnel use terminal on it to establish a dynamic link with wireless base stations beside the track. With the use of multi-packet reception (MPR) technology, the base station could successfully decode the data from multiple terminals at the same time sent to the base station. Multi-packet reception technology is introduced into the underground wireless broadband network. In order to meet the interference constraints, How to adjust the locomotive signal transmission power to maximize the number of mine locomotives which can communicate with the base station at the same time was discussed. This is the work of this paper. For the questions raised above, this paper discussed the questions in two aspects, and proposed two heuristic access control strategy which achieved a good simulation result.1) A single base station multi-mine locomotives scheduling model was established based on the successive interference cancellation (SIC) algorithm. By analyzing the model, this paper listed related interference constraints. Then, the interference constraints of SIC was simplified, and a concept of reduction coefficients was proposed. This paper explained how to adjust the signal transmit power of mine locomotive. Then a heuristic solution was proposed. Finally, some simulation experiments were made. The results of Simulation showed that the access control policy can affect the number of mine locomotives which can communicate with the base station at the same time effectively.2) On the basis of above model, a dual antenna base station switching model based on the successive interference cancellation (SIC) algorithm was established. By analyzing the model, this paper listed related interference constraints. Then, the interference constraints of SIC was simplified, and some new concepts of exit and entrance reduction coefficients was proposed. Finally, this paper proposed a heuristic strategy of base station switching. The results of Simulation showed that the access control policy can affect the number of mine locomotives which run on the range controlled by the two base stations at the same time effectively.
