Industrial cleaning occupies an irreplaceable position as an important science and technology in manufacturing, especially as the metal surface decontamination cleaning process, in an rapid developing era of industrial. With the increasing awareness of environmental protection, and the traditional industrial cleaning methods can not overcome the drawbacks, urgently need to produce a green and efficient cleaning method. Laser cleaning as an environmental and reliable cleaning technology, has a broad space for development potential.The article mainly research on the laser cleaning process of 6005 A aluminum and ordinary carbon steel surface. Firstly, through the comparative study of four cleaning equipment on cleaning effect, the test results showed that low-power pulsed laser cleaning device is suitable for laser paint removal, and 500 W continuous fiber laser cleaning device for de- rust of carbon surface.Combined microstructure and element content changes of the substrate surface before and after cleaning, deeply study of the laser power, cleaning speed and the amount of defocus on the influence of the cleaning effect is conducted, and the optimization of process parameters is obtained on the laser de-rust of steel and de-paint of aluminum surfaces. It was also analyzed by measuring the morphology and hardness values of the surface before and after cleaning, obtained a law that pulsed laser cleaning can strengthen the surfaces of steel and aluminum. On the basis of cleaning process exploring on the aluminum surface, influence of the spot walking path, spot spacing and cleaning speed on the cleaning efficiency is deeply studied, which has provided accurate guidance to the parameter optimization of cleaning process. High-speed camera captured the laser de-paint experiment, showed the action law of spot and the change process of paint divorcing from the substrate surface, obtained that the laser de-paint mechanism is vaporization associated with resonance peeling of paint.
