In this paper, a new arrangement of monolayer brazed diamond saw blade is developed successfully, which was used in steel cutting. Theory of high temperature brazing diamond and the orderly arrangement technology helped to realize the goal.The main contents completed in this paper are as follows:(1)By the summary of existing method of brazing, vacuum brazing furnace was chosed as experiment equipment for brazing saw blade, and process of brazing was determined by experiment.(2)A kind of manufacturing process is developed to fabricate the new-type orderly arrangement brazing diamond saw blade. The diamond abrasive, solder, base material and adhesive appropriate for the experiments are selected. The new type orderly arrangement brazing diamond saw blade of Φ125mm outer diameter are successfully developed.(3) The material removal model and removal mechanism of steel sawing were analysised. Selected the appropriate mode of sawing through the theoretical calculation, determine the reasonable orderly arrangement; choose suitable interval of abrasive arrangement by combined with the chip size.(4)Parallel tests of cutting between new type abrasive ordered arrangement brazing diamond saw blade and the traditional balde. Select saw slice chip, cutting temperature, cutting noise, diamond wear and saw life as the index, research shows that the comprehensive performance of orderly arrangement brazed diamond saw is better than the traditional saw blade.
