Machine tools is the basic equipment in the equipment manufacturing, the requirement of machine tools is higher and higher with the development of high accuracy, the high efficiency, high flexible, in the manufacturing. The stick-slip phenomenon of feed system which is one of the important parts of machine tools will affect the stability of the machine during the runtime under the low rotation and heavy load condition. Therefore, it has great practical value and theoretical significance for taking a further study on the stick-slip of feed system to control or eliminate the stick-slip phenomenon.The article take the testbed of the feed system of machine tools as research subject, On the theoretical basis, simulate and analyze the station of stick-slip with low speed using the virtual prototype technique,and analyze the established earthquake model of linear guide with two degrees of freedom and the station of stick-slip motion, the research contents are as follows:(1) This article briefly expounds the composition, system design, function requirement of feed system of machine tools and the definition and origin of the phenomenon of feed system; summarizing status of researches about feed system and stick-slip phenomenon at home and abroad.(2) For the phenomenon of "stick-slip with low speed" which appeared in the process of feed system at a lower speed, establish the mechanical models of stick-slip and mathematical model and the critical velocity of stick-slip phenomenon of feed system is obtained by solving equations, and obtain the influences are moving mass, damping coefficient, stiffness of transmission system, difference of the static and dynamic friction and speed of movement etc.(3) The article take the testbed of the feed system of machine tools as research subject, establish the rigid flexible coupling model using the Virtual prototype technique, simulate and analyze the station of stick-slip with low speed, determined the impact to the speed fluctuations of feed system under the change of the influence factors, so that provide the measures to suppress and decrease stick-slip.(4) Establish the two-dimension earthquake model of linear guide systerm with the role of a certain drawing velocity and lateral displacement and excitation displacement; give numerically analyse to the complete sliding station of linear, the motion of stick-slip and the influence of vibration response of each fator; and comparison analysis with the one-dimensional regardless of vertical vibration state.
