Coal-based reduction technology is an effective method for dealing with oolitic hematite through magnetization in advance.The coke-based reduction products of oolitic hematite from Chengde, Hebei province were investigated, which is analyzed on process mineralogy properties, and discussing the effect on mineral dressing process of coke-based reduction products with the stage separation which is used by stage grinding and different ways of broking and grinding, and discussing the mechanism of extrusion to improve the classification index based on it, which established a theoretical foundation for the development and utilization of coke-based reduction products of oolitic hematite.For coke-based reduction products,through the chemical analysis, X-ray diffraction (XRD) analysis,SEM,EDS etc. we can know that, the total iron grade of ore of coke-based reduction products is 25.06%, the distribution rate of metallic iron is as high as 87.95%, while the gangue minerals are mainly quartz, the content of harmful impurity P is relatively low for the coke-based reduction products, recycled iron phase is metallic iron.Using the coke-based reduction products as raw materials, there are three kinds of mineral processing technology,separately conducting a period of grinding-magnetic separation process, gravity separation decarbonization -two pieces of grinding-two magnetic separation process,and the primary crushing-gravity separation decarbonization- two pieces of grinding -two magnetic separation process. The results showd that iron grade and the recovery of the concentrate were 82.35% and 93.99% under the conditions of the primary crushing-gravity separation decarbonization-grinding-two pieces of grinding-two magnetic separation process test which is the best process when the second stage grinding fineness under 0.043mm is up to 86.82%.The indicators of gravity separation decarbonization- two pieces of grinding- two magnetic separation process is better than indicators of a period of grinding-magnetic separation process,and the indicators of the primary crushing-gravity separation decarbonization- two pieces of grinding -two magnetic separation process is better than indicators of gravity separation decarbonization- two pieces of grinding -two magnetic separation process.In order to check the extrusion of the roll breakage for the coke-based reduction products and comparing the microscopic characteristics of the coke-based reduction products with the extrusion to the microscopic characteristics of the coke-based reduction products without extrusion, there are a lot of cracks on the surface of coke-based reduction products with extrusion, it is obvious to increase more cracks to compare with the coke-based reduction products without extrusion,it was beneficial for the presence of these micro cracks during the subsequent grinding process to lower energy consumption, in addition, there is a big impact on the second period of grinding of the stage separation which is used by stage grinding with extrusion, it is more likely to get monomer dissociation after extrusion for parts of the hard grinding minerals in order to obviously improve analytical results of monomer dissociation degree.The research results of the paper have laid the foundation for Ore Dressing Technology of Coke-based Reduction Products of oolitic hematite, which has certain guiding significance to the efficient development and utilization of oolitic hematite.
