Spinning technology, also called metal spinning forming technology, has been widely used in military and civilian industries, solving the manufacture problem which the other processing methods are difficult to solve. CNC spinning technology is the application of numerical control technology to the spinning process. It can significantly improve the spinning process, spinning efficiency and machining precision. For the core of CNC system for CNC spinning, foreign universal CNC system is mostly adopted by the present domestic CNC system of spinning machine. Due to the particularity of spinning process, there is obviously insufficient for adopting this kind of system in the application. Furthermore, it is very common for the spinning mode to have core mold. Therefore it will be very significant for developing the domestic spinning technology to research and develop special CNC system of CNC spinning machine without core mold.Based on the analysis and research of end of jar spinning process, mathematical model on the parametric power spinning and trajectory model, according to end of jar spinning, are established in this paper. Adopting the form of open CNC structure, and making IPC and motion control card of reliable function be hardware base, special CNC system for end of jar spinning machine without core mold is researched. The main work and achievements are as follows:(1) Based on the analysis and research of the spinning equipment kinematics and spinning process, mathematical model of spinning deformation and trajectory model of spinning are derived and established. And the trajectory model is simulated and verified through MATLAB.(2) Based on the trajectory model, the numerical simulation analysis is carried out on the end of jar spinning process, the deformation mechanism on spinning process is further analyzed, and the theoretical calculation formula of spinning force on spinning deformation model is fixed, using ABAQUS.(3) By analyzing the blank quantity which needed by spinning deformation model, the calculation formula of blank quantity is derived.(4) Adopting the open structure of "NC embedded PC", hardware and software framework of special CNC system for head spinning machine is built, with the IPC and motion control card for the hardware foundation.(5) Based on mathematical model of spinning deformation and trajectory planning of spinning, the locus of control model and control algorithm in system are analyzed, the system hardwares are selected reasonably and the sectional control softwares of system are programmed. Furthermore, this system is simulated for machining.
