The project relies on the spinning machine project of Taiyuan Keda Heavy Industry Company, this equipment is mainly used to reduce the wall thickness of the steel pipe, the device can improve production efficiency, reduce energy consumption, improve product surface finish. This equipment uses the power spinning process, this kind of molding process is mainly suitable for the forming of the rotating parts, it has the advantages of no cutting volume, fast forming speed, low energy consumption, good molding effect etc.. The study on the spinning process in foreign is more earlier, and the technology is advanced in the United States, Germany, Japan and other countries. The domestic research of spinning technology started from 1960 s, in some areas has reached the international advanced level.our country is doing more well at the applications of one single spinning wheel, double spinning wheel and three spinning wheel spinning, especially the application of three spinning wheel is more wide. But the four spinning wheel spinning, the application is more less because of its complexity of equipment, however four spinning wheel spinning has important significance on improving its surface finish and mechanical performance.In this article we mainly study for some problems occur when spinning steel tube in four wheel power spinning machine,focus on the effct of spinning deformation process parameters to the deformation process and the determination method of main spinning deformation process parameter, and then to optimize and improve the ?630mm spinning machine.In this article,we first have introduced the application of steel tube spinning process and the production process, and then briefly introduced the spinning process and technology at home and abroad, and then by using the theoretical analysis, spinning deformation parameters were analyzed, such as the influence of spinning effect to thinning rate, pipe feeding speed, spinning wheel frame speed; then by using the method of numerical simulation, using software deform to simulation the forming effect of tube spinning under the condition of different parameters by using the seamless steel pipe cold spinning machine of diameter630 mm,the characteristics of tube material forming and the deformation law have been studied the scope of the various process parameters have been further defined by analysising of metal flow, stress and strain in the spinning forming process; according to the simulation research results,the method for determining the parameters of the spinning deformation of the four wheel power spinning and the key technical parameters of the equipment design are presented, and then by the test we verified the forming effect of molding process conditions,and the mechanical properties change of the pipe materials were analyzed before and after spinning; finally, the mathematical model formula have been optimized by comparing with the calculation force values and experiments force values.
