This paper introduces the development, basic principle, mathematical model of genetic algorithm and the adaptive genetic algorithm and implementation steps, analyzes on the advantages and disadvantages of adaptive genetic algorithm and improved. The adaptive algorithm is easy to fall into local optimum, this paper based on the adaptive genetic algorithm of the previous, put forward a new parameter is introduced to a, b to control individual and population fitness distribution to improve the crossover probability and mutation probability, so that the improved genetic algorithm to improve the convergence speed in a globally optimized under.The paper also describes the various modes of transport of open-pit mine and characteristics, describe the theory and principle of path optimization, and builds up the pit road network model, the determination of weight node extraction, arc road network structure. This paper adopts ObjectARX to achieve the extraction and operation on pit road network model data of two secondary development of AutoCAD using Microsoft Office Access, as the road data management software, realizing the real-time, synchronous database and graphic data.
