Nitrogen fertilizer tends to migrate into the environment through runoff,leaching and volatilization,causing severe environmental pollution.In this work,a high-performance water and nutrient loss control fertilizer(WNLCF)was developed by adding high-energy electron beam(HEEB)dispersed attapulgite(HA)-P-M(WNLCA)complex to traditional fertilizer.The optimum formula were obtained through the experiments of water-retention,migrate-to-surface,leaching and the loss control behavior of water,nutrient were studied systematically.The samples were characterized by FTIR,XRD,SEM,TEM and so on.The mechanism of interaction between WNLCA and WNLCF were also studied.The effects of WNLCU on the growth of corn were researched.The main conclusions were drawn as followings:1.Trough HEEB treatment,HA30 had the highest specific surface area and dispersion and thus was selected as one of the components of WNLCA.Besides,the water-retention ratio of HA30 was 16.35%.2.The HA30-P-M with WHA30:WP:WM of 9:1:0.4 displayed the highest water retaining performance(51.1%)and thus was selected as the WNLCA.3.The WNLCU and WNLCN were successfully prepared.Furthermore the function of water-retention and controlled loss of nutrient were studied by the experiments of water-retention,migrate-to-surface and leaching.Based on these experiments,the water-retention ratio,migrate-to-surface ratio and leaching ratio of WNLCU were 43.3%,61.7% and 65.87% at Wu/WWNLCA of 9:1.2 respectively.In addition,the water-retention ratio,migrate-to-surface ratio and leaching ratio of WNLCN were 31.53%,38.95% and89.96% at WN/WWNLCA of 9:1.2 respectively.4.HA30-P-M possessed two kinds of networks,one was the 3D networks made up of HA30 rods,and the other was the molecular penetrating networks of P-M.This micro/nano networks structure endowed HA30-P-M with high porosity,SSA,and hydrophilicity.As a result,more nitrogen could be adsorbed and retained in the networks of HA30-P-M,and then tend to be retained in the soil,resulting in high retaining capacity and low loss amount for fertilizer nutrients.5.The WNLCA could effectively control the loss of nutrients in WNLCF making WNLCF able to continuously supply sufficient nutrients and water for the growth of corn.The researches combined the HEEB modified-attapulgite techniques,water absorption capacity and adsorption bridging action,had significantly theoretical and practical means.The obtained WNLCF could effectively increase the growth of corn andagricultural productivity.
