Longitudinal jet is a simple and effective technique, which is mainly used in the daily tunnel ventilation and mine ventilation tunneling work. In this paper, on the basis of the previous research achievements, the new purchased CTA of National Key Laboratory of Safety College is used to build vertical jet ventilation model under the premise of fully grasp of the instrument performance and reducing the test error. The application of this instrument and the measuring instrument is used to validate the model experiment on longitudinal jet ventilation.Firstly, the theoretical basis of jet ventilation is studied, and to clear the division of ventilation flow field, describe the wind speed and pressure characteristics of each region and analysis of the influence of pressure effect and induction effect of jet ventilation. Then to decide to apply the model of experimental verification jet ventilation features.And then comparing various existing velocity measurement method, the CTA is determined to use. Learning the operational analysis test error of the CTA, to find out the main factors which influence the measuring accuracy and to reduce measurement error.Then according to the structure principle of longitudinal jet ventilation, and the test features of the CTA and the micro manometer breeze. Design ing and manufacturing of longitudinal jet ventilation mode, which is mainly used to study on the induced draft paragraph. Then to measure wind speed and relative static pressure in the model and the initial velocity field and pressure field are preliminarily formed.Finally, the longitudinal jet ventilation model is built as a standard group. By changing these two variables of the fan outlet velocity and wind turbine installation height, to study experimental comparative study, and find the data variation, which provide validation for efficient utilization of longitudinal ventilation, and also provide a reference for further research.
