With the increasingly fierce competition in the steel industry,steel production enterprises have more and more attention to steel-making automation and converter steel-making process optimization,what's more scheduling and tracking to molten iron is one of the most important part.However,most steel production enterprises lack an effective means of tracking and a systematic planning and design.The current molten iron tracking,managing and scheduling means mainly rely on manual ledger and paper to complete.That leads to the difficulty of tracing information of molten iron,dispatchers can not be timely and accurate grasp the information of molten iron in steelworks,scheduling instructions execution efficiency is low,affecting the production rhythm,limiting production optimization.In this paper,combining GPS,wireless and other networking technology,we achieve automatic tracking and transportation optimization of molten iron in steelworks.And we complete the realization of scheduling assistance system to the molten iron ladle in the steelworks.On this basis,optimization scheduling problem of the molten iron in steelworks has also been discussed.The main focus of this study and the research can be summarized as follows:1)Have a deeply investigation and research to the transportation process and scheduling business of molten iron in steelworks,discussing the problem in current tracking and scheduling service.we proposed the functional requirements of molten iron tracking scheduling system,the overall structure of the system.2)According to the transport of molten iron in steelworks,combined with positioning and wireless communication technology to achieve the ladle vehicle tracking in transit and priority accessing,both to ensure the safe transport of metal iron and improve transport efficiency.3)On the basis of ladle vehicle positioning,combined with the operating procedures and dispatching services to ladle,designed the ladle tracking system,realized the data integration of the current automation systems,achieved the ladle tracking of position,data and status information.4)On the basis of ladle tracking system,designed the scheduling assistance system,a more intuitive way to clearly show the current status of metal iron transport,supporting for the scheduling job to dispatchers.5)Having a preliminary study on optimization scheduling problem of molten iron insteelworks.This design of metal iron tracking scheduling system can solve the tracking and scheduling problem in production,improve the economic efficiency and competitiveness of enterprises.
