With the increasing demand for clean energy,the energy structure is constantly changing.In 2014,the annual natural gas consumption in Shannxi Province achieve to18.216 billion cubic meters.For the city,the great difficulties of the sustained and stable supply of natural gas were cause by wide fluctuation of city natural gas usage amount along with the seasonal change.Due to the gas supply mode are mainly composed of pipeline gas in the province,also Chang'an District currently single gas source,just has Jingbian-Xi'an Gas Pipeline.Therefore,in Chang`an District,it`s essential to build the liquefied natural gas(LNG)stored and distributed station which used to store,gasification peak shaving and transport LNG.In this paper,the Yin Town LNG Emergency Storage Station in Chang'an District are as a design object and as engineering design for them.The engineering design contains technological design,equipment selection,pipeline design,factory district drainage and fire protection design,the overall plant and equipment layout and economic evaluation etc.By determining the process of the main unit,base on technical,economic,practical,easy maintenance and other considerations,for a suitable site in the selection of equipment,piping design,drainage design and fire station and equipment layout.Finally,having done sensibility analysis to the sales price,operating cost,size and construction investment factors.This paper conducted a more comprehensive LNG storage station engineering design,with the stable performance equipment selection.Providing the experience for reference of large-scale construction of large LNG emergency storage stations.
