Based on the hot dip galvanizing continuous annealing furnace of Beijing Shougang Cold Rolling Co.Ltd, studied the strip cooling process of rapid cooling section in the continuous annealing furnace at domestic and abroad. Through the introduction of technologies and cooperation with Belgium DREVER company, It increases the hydrogen concentration in rapid cooling section to improve the heat transfer efficiency and cooling capacity of rapid cooling section in the furnace, to meet the requirements of the production of high-end automobile leaf-spring.The atmosphere balance control system of Continuous annealing furnace was designed,the paper has made three aspects of work as follows:(1)The paper studied cooling process of rapid cooling section in the hot dip galvanizing continuous annealing furnace, according to Actual conditions on site, it proposed the solution of increasing the hydrogen concentration in rapid cooling section to enhance the convective heat transfer coefficient for increasing the efficiency of heat transfer.(2)The project of furnace atmosphere balance control system was proposed. This paper deeply studied the principle of furnace balance control, combined with the original atmosphere gas injection and furnace pressure balancing system, a new protective atmosphere injected system,a new furnace pressure management and balance system, fast cooling section nonproliferation system, fast cooling section atmosphere analysis and monitor system and fast cooling section security system were designed that based on pure hydrogen gas injected in the rapid cooling section.(3)Use the Siemens PCS7 control system, the project of sequence logic control, the regulation of hydrogen injection in rapid cooling section and HMI function for atmosphere management system were designed. Through the configuring of hardware and software, the data acquisition, real-time supervising, curve drawing, alarm information display for parameters of system function are realized, realization the design of furnace atmosphere balance control system, and the test experiment for the furnace atmosphere control system designed in this was carried out.
