With the development of social science and technology, micro parts have played an important role in our lives. Moreover, Micro technology with the advantage of high machining efficiency and wide range of materials etc. also has caught the attention of people. Because single crystal materials have fewer dislocations and their crystallization orientation is consistent, which can reduce the error and enhance the transmission performance of precision instruments, they have an indispensable effect in electronic and aerospace. But processing of single crystal materials is difficult and high cost, so it's hard for them to be applied widely.Because of the impact of milling factors and material itself, poor surface quality and larger milling force always appear in the micro milling. So it's important to find good technical parameters. This paper uses three groups of materials, AL6061, AL7075, incone1600, and uses the finite element simulation and experiment to research the impact of milling factors and material structure on processing.Firstly, this paper researchs the formation of crystalline material chips and the milling machining mechanism, especially the micro milling method of single crystal materials and the impact of different microstructures of materials on processing. ABAQUS is used to establish two-dimensional models of single crystal, coarse grain, fine grain AL6061 parts and cutting tools, and choose the right Johnson-cook constitutive parameters. Then the result explains the impact of milling factors and grain sizes on milling force in the simulation.Secondly, the micro milling experiment of single factor is used to research the impact of milling factors on surface quality and milling force of single crystal AL6061; And then the micro milling orthogonal experiment is carried out to provide further proof of the correctness of the single factor experiment. Finally, through micro milling orthogonal experiments of three groups of different microstructure materials AL6061, AL7075, incone1600 and measuring the experimental result, this paper analyzes the impact of grain sizes and milling factors(spindle speed, feed speed, cutting depth) on processing, and find the best technological parameters.According to the study, this paper has found that, in some cases change rules of the surface quality and milling force of single crystal materials have the same as common materials, and also discussed the reasons of different cases. Generally speaking, the milling force of single crystal materials is lagest, followed by fine grain, and the surface quality of fine grain is better than coarse grain. Therefore, selecting the appropriate parameters and materials can achieve a goal that enhances machining quality. This paper also provides some references for micro milling of single crystal and different microstructure materials in the future.
