The one-way transport is that sweat transfer from the inner fraction hydrophilic channel to the hydrophilic outer layer of fabric, and evaporate rapidly on the outer layer, because the fabric has different hydrophilic and hydrophobic performance on the inner and outer layer. Most hydrophobic inner of fabric can lead the sweat far away from body, and much heat is taken away by water evaporation, so we have a feeling of nice and cool. However, most of hydrophobic chemicals are agents with organic fluorine, although they often the good use and wash effect, this kind of finishing agent have some disadvantages, such as high price, and long carbon chain containing fluorine finishing agent is high biological cumulative, extremely difficult to degrade, and have potential threats to human health and the environment; On the other hand, conventional macromolecular organic silicon compounds are difficult to achieve the same water resistant capacity of organic fluorine agents. Using sol-gel technology to design and build the inorganic nanoparticles gets excellent repellent effect, but the washing durability of traditional method of preparation of silica sol is poorer, this thesis first synthesize 3-azido-propyltriethoxysilane, then bring the azide group on silica sol surface to improve the washing durability of fabric. Waterproof performance of cotton fabric is researched by two different finishing processes.and single-side moisture is obtained through the way of printing and ultraviolet light. This method is working by ultraviolet light and with no heat curing, can obtain water washing durability and save energy.UV curing silica sol was prepared by hydrolysis of tertraethoxysilane and 3-azido-propyltriethoxysilane,and the catalyzer is ammonia. Water-repellent cotton fabric was successful obtained firstly by dip-coating the UV curing silica sol and then immersing in the alkyltrialkoxysilanes. UV curing silica sol with different sizes were prepared by controlling the concentration of ammonia. This paper discusses the influence of UV curing silica sol particle sizes, structure and concentration of alkyltrialkoxysilanes on water repellency of fabric were discussed. With alkyltrialkoxysilanes carbon chain and atomic number increasing and, improve the repellent properties of the fabric. After treating with 3mL hexadeeyltrimethoxysilane (HDTMS) in hydrolysis reaction, the water contact angle of superhydrophobic cotton fabric is 151.9°. To investigate the water repellent of treated fabric under condition of daily use, washing tests were performed on them and the influence of washing cycles on contact angle of water on fabric was discussed. The water contact angle on cotton fabric decreased from 151.9°to 130° after 30 washing cycles. So the water-repellent cotton fabric has good washable performance.A one-step coating to obtain water-repellent cotton fabric was presented in order to simplify the finishing technology, save time and energy, based on the two-step process, UV curing silica sol were modified by adding alkyltrialkoxysilanes and then dip-coated onto cotton fabric, The influence of particle size, the alkyltrialkoxysilanes with different structures and concentrations and soaping times on the water repellent property were discussed.After being treated by the modified UV curing silica sol adding 2mL HDTMS, the cotton fabric exhibited good water repellent. The water contact angle is 151.6°, the water contact angle on cotton fabric decreased from 151.9°to 130° after 30 washing cycles.The surface morphology of treated cotton fabric was characterized by field-emission scanning electron microscopy (FE-SEM). The results showed that UV curing silica sol nanoparticles had been coated onto the cotton fiber surface, resulting in a certain surface roughness. The Si and N element was detected on the treated cotton fabric surface by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS). Washing resistance of the cotton fabric treated by one-step process was improved.Finally, the one-way transport fabric with hydrophilic and hydrophobic structures has been designed through single-side finishing on the fabric by the method of printing process of the plate, which lead the paste to distribute on one side of the fabric according to a certain pattern. Through testing the time of drop water diffusion on the treaded fabric, the optimal single-side finishing process is obtained as follows:3% agent dosage and hydrophobic finishing area of choice for 42%. The durability is excellent by the test of detergency. On the fabric structure design, water diffusion time of knitted fabric is better than the plain cotton fabrics, and the one-way transport performance of plain knitted fabric is the best among the plain thin cotton fabric, plain thick cotton fabric, plain knitted fabric and rib fabric.
