The influence of the fault on slope stability is more complicated, caused a bigger threat to open pit mine production safety, especially for suitable dip bedded slope, under the combination of the fault and the dip weak layer, the deformation failure mechanism and the stability problem is one of the technical problem to be solved in the surface mining area.In this thesis, with the eastern slope of Yuanbaoshan Surface Mine as the engineering background, the influence of the fault location and dip angle changing for the dip bedded slope sliding mode and stability and the oblique fault effect on the deformation failure mechanism and stability of the dip bedded slope were studied with the combination of field investigation, theoretical analysis, limit equilibrium theory, numerical simulation and other means and methods. The results indicate that the root cause of the change of the slope stability with the change of fault location and the fault angle is the change of the slide mode. When the weak layer angle (?) and the fault angle (8) meet ?+?<90°, the stability of the slop nearly linear increase with the fault migrating to the inside of the slope, until the offset distance exceeds 90 m, the sliding mode and stability coefficient remain the same. When 45°<?<60°, the stability of the slop nearly linear increase with the increasing of the fault angle, until the ?>65°, the sliding mode and stability coefficient are no longer affected by the fault. The existence of multiple weak layer has a certain superposition effect on the rock mass deformation and the slope stability. The direct cause of landslide is the generation of plastic yield by the weak layer under the gravity stress of the rock mass slope. To provide guidance for the eastern slope of Yuanbaoshan Surface Mine in governance, for the analysis and control of slope stability has a certain reference value.
