With the rapid development of coal mining technology, the degree of mechanization of open pit coal mine gradually improve, mechanized large-scale coal mining has been widely used in our country. Open pit mine rig as a main mechanical equipment of open pit mining, because of its large capacity, high efficiency has been widely concerned. The drill bit is drilling rig directly grams take rock tools, its quality directly affects the cost of drilling and the drilling efficiency. Therefore, it is indispensable steps to researching the stress distribution of the drill bit with developing efficient, long-life during the drilling process.This paper based on the field investigation and design drawings, establishing three-dimensional model of open-pit drill rotary cutting bit, Application of ANS YS software of thermo mechanical coupling analysis for a pit mine drill rotary cutting bit,get the distribution law of drill at different environmental temperatures in the drilling process of the temperature field and the thermal stress field, analyzing the influence of temperature change on the drill cutting performance and the use of performance. Comparison of different rock drill thermal stress field analysis, get the drill bit in the parameters of thermal stress distribution law of different drilling, provides the reference for the optimization design of drill.
