China's economic structure and energy structure are in a critical period of transition,coal bed methane,shale gas and other unconventional energy industry is facing tremendous opportunities for development.Total recoverable resources of China's coal-bed methane is about 10 trillion meters.At present,the domestic enterprises to carry out coal-bed methane exploration is not much,mainly concentrated in Shanxi and Henan and other places,and most of the foreign enterprises.In the transport stage,in order to prevent or limit the coalbed methane from the compressor shaft end leakage to atmosphere,shaft end sealing technology plays a crucial role in the compressor stability,safety,long cycle and economic benefit maximization.Throughout the mechanical seal(mainly shaft end sealing technology)elopment history,by the early single end face sealing technology,to later double face,face contact type mechanical seal,or even multiple seal combination,the development of the later in the ring on the surface of the various shape groove type non-contact mechanical seal.The dry gas seal is a kind of non-contact application of slotting technology sealing technology,and is widely used in petrochemical industry.Dry gas seal is between the dynamic and static ring,due to the presence of gas dynamic pressure effect,thus forming a rigid film,not only to ensure that the dry gas seal ring face are not in contact with each other and also ensure that the leakage in the tolerance range.The dry gas sealing mechanism of,through the study on fluid dynamic thermodynamic process of the principle of pressure,sealing gap gas film flow state and gas film and does some research on the film stability and affect the stability of the gas film factors.Then,numerical simulation and experimental study are used to study the end face characteristics of dry gas seals.The three-dimensional geometric model of dry gas seal was established by Solidworks in the numerical simulation stage.The model was divided into the model grid by Workbench,and the numerical simulation analysis was carried out by using Fluent to the specific working conditions.The corresponding simulation results were obtained by changing the operating parameters and geometric dimensions of the dry gas seal.And the simulationresults of the optimization of the geometric size of the interval: spiral angle 2817 ?????,groove depth ??92gh,slot number ??148gN,slot width ratio ??7.04.0 ?,length ratio of the long dam ??7.04.0 ?,the thickness of the film ??42 h.In the experimental stage using Xi'an Petroleum University of dry gas seal test rig and selected geometric parameters fixed dynamic and static seal ring,the nitrogen as sealing medium,using control variable method,respectively under constant speed and variable pressure and constant pressure variable speed,experimental.And by measuring the corresponding leakage and power changes,influences of speed and pressure on the performance of the dry gas seal.The test results show that: a single change speed or pressure,will cause the leakage and friction power increases.By studying the characteristics of dry gas seal,the comparison between experimental results and simulation results,the optimized theory of coal seam gas compressor dry gas seal.
