TA10 titanium alloy belongs to ? class of titanium alloy,it has good corrosion resistance,high temperature resistance,wear resistance,creep resistance and other advantages,and it issuitable for longtime work in the environment of 350~500 degrees Celsius.In addition the strength and the stiffiness of the composite material is match with it,combined with its high specific strength and high temperature performance,it has a very good application prospects.The corrosion resistance of the alloy was improvedin the reducing medium,and it keeps the corrosion resistance characteristics of pure titanium in the oxide medium such as chromic acid and nitric acid.TA10 titanium alloy is more and more widely used in the fields of engine manufacturing,petroleum machinery,nuclear industry,corrosion resistance and so on,and the requirement for its deep hole process will bestricter.At present,there is no mature cutting tool structure and the corresponding process parameters for deep hole processing of TA10 titanium alloy.In addition,because the machining environment of the tools is relatively poor during the deep hole machining,the application of TA10 material is restricted.This paper uses TA10 titanium alloy as the research object,finds TA10 alloy's processing difficulties by the analysing and comparing the mechanical properties of TA10 and other common processing materials,then according to the characteristic of deep hole processing to design the drilling purposefully.this paper selects the BTA system for drilling and designs the tool structure fitting the size of the test material through mechanical analysis and modeling of the drilling bit.By studying the characteristics of the workpiece material and the characteristics of the blade material,this paper chooses the YG8 as the blade material and the guide block material to drill the TA10 titanium alloy,and then carries on the deep hole drilling and the cutting tool wear contrast test respectively.By observing and analyzing the machining state,tool wear and the machining quality of the workpiece,the cutting tool angle and the reasonable cutting parameters suitable for the TA10 material deep hole drilling can be selected.Through the the energy spectrum analysis of the tool wear area this paper sums up that the wear form is mainly bond wear,and this experiment provides reference for the actual production.
