The existence o f inso luble substance in salt rock underground gas storage has great influence on the salt rock mining cycle, the shape control of cavit y and the vo lume of cavit y. This paper. The method for vacuat ion inso luble substance in salt rock underground gas storage was put forward in this paper based on the basic characterist ics analyse o f inso luble substance, then co mpound the mixture slurry formula to treatment inso luble substance. The fo llowing creat ive result s have been achieved.(1)The results of simulated salt rock disso lut ion test showed that the so lutio n concentration was increasing with the disso lved time increase of salt rock samples, and it showed a steady trend. The mass percentage of inso luble substances were 31.57%, 8.73%, 10.98%, 17.78% and 39.68%. whose particle size are less than 2.5mm, 2.5mm~5mm, 5mm~10mm, 10mm~30mm and greater than 30 mm respect ively. The mass percentage of inso luble substances were 42.55% whose particle size are less than 10 mm.(2)The mixed slurry formulat ion experiment of vacuat ion the inso luble substance in salt rock underground gas storage selected starch, hydroxypropyl starch and XC as addit ive agent and formaldehyde as modifyingagent. The optimal rat io of addit ive agent was confirmed by densit y, flow, and temperature resistance performancet ime and stabilit y o f time. Then got the mixture slurry formula 1( 500 ml Saturated sodium chloride so lut ion + starch 5% + formaldehyde 100 ml + XC0.5%) and formula 2.( 500 ml Saturated sodium chloride so lut ion + hydroxypropyl starch 5% + XC0.5%).(3)The carrying rock effect experiment of vacuation the inso luble substance in salt rock underground gas storage showed the vacuat ion rate of formula 1 and 2 were 70.62% and 56.21% respect ively. The rheo logical property o f formula 1 remained stable in 48 hours.The result s of this paper had a guiding role for vacuat ion the inso luble substance in salt rock underground gas storage, expanding cavit y vo lume and shortening constructing cycle in engineering applicatio ns.
