2-tert-amylanthraquione is a work medium of production of hydrogen peroxide. We use the method of phthalic anhydride to produce2-tert-amylanthraquione. We use aluminum chloride, ferric chloride, aluminum chloride-triethylamine hydrochloride ionic liquids, H? zeolite as the catalysts, respectively to synthesis tert-amylbenzene. We use tert-amylbenzene and aluminum chloride and phthalic anhydride to synthesis of 2-(tert-amylbenzoyl) benzoic acid. In the end,we use fuming sulfuric acid or polyphosphoric acid to synthesis 2-tert-amylanthraquinone.In the process of synthesis of tert-amylbenzene,when we use ferric chloride, aluminum chloride, ionic liquids as catalysts and the yield of product are 88.9%, 76.2%, 82.2%, respectively. The content of tert-amylbenzene are 96.2%, 92.6%, 93.8% respectively. The content of sec- isoamylbenzene are 1.4%, 5.1%, 1.2%, respectively. When we use H?-zeolite modified by Lanthanum as catalyst, the conversion rate of olefins is 98.9% and the content of tert-amylbenzene and sec- isoamylbenzene are 78.6% and 10.8% respectively. The method of using ferric chloride and aluminum chloride has an advantage of high yield and selectivity. But it is hard to handle the catalysts. This method produces large amounts of wastewater and pollute the environment. When we use ionic liquids as catalyst, it has an advantage of high yield and selectivity. It is easy to handle the catalyst.and it can be reused. When we use H? zeolite as the catalyst, the yield and selectivity of product is lower than ferric chloride. It is easy to get the reaction material. It is friendly to the environment.In the process of synthesis of 2-(tert-amylbenzoyl)benzoic acid, the yield of product is low and the ratio of products is 1:1. We take some ways to increase the yield to 86.1% and the ratio of produces is 3.7:1. In the process of synthesis of 2-tert-amylanthraquinone, when we use fuming sulfuric acid and polyphosphoric acid as catalysts, the yield of product is 83.9% and 82.0%.
