Preparation And Application Of Polymeric Aluminum-ferric Chloride From Coal Gangue

Coal gangue is the discharge of solid waste.Not only the land was occupied,the environment has been polluted by the accumulation of coal gangue.coal gangue would be a valuable asset,because its main component of Al2O3,SiO2,also contains varying amounts of Fe2O3,if it can be made full use of.Although,with the progress of science and technology,the water processing method has been improved and innovated constantly,the method,the widest applicable range,the lowest treatment cost and the best flocculation efficiency is still the flocculation precipitation.Used Al3+salt and Fe3+salt flocculant has shortcomings,so PAFC,an inorganic polymer flocculant,has been developed on the basis of Al3+ salt and Fe3+ salt flocculants by the predecessors.It has the advantages of Al3+ salt and Fe3+ salt flocculant,at the same time,it can make up their weak points,and can be widely used to treat drinking water,urban water and industrial wastewater.The objectives of this research are thus to prepare a polyaluminum ferric chloride(PAFC)with coal gangue by microwave irradiation.The best condition for lixiviating Al2O3 and Fe2O3 from coal gangue was determined according to aluminum and ferric producing rates through acid leaching.PAFC has been made by the acid leaching solution in microwave reactor from the best condition.Research on simulated dye wastewater purified with prepared PAFC,with the sold PAC and PFC are compared.Experiment results showed that:Under the conditions in the solid-liquid ratio of 1:3,calcination time 120min,calcination temperature 750?,acid pickling temperature 105?,acid pickling time 30min,micro wave power 500w,hydrochloride acid concentration 20%,coal gangue particle size 80mu,leaching rate of aluminum oxide and ferric oxide can reach the best.The acid leaching time of the technology is greatly less than traditional technology while improving the operating environment.The prepared PAFC was used to treat practical wastewater with large and compact flocs formed,fast sedimentation and wide range of applicable pH value.Dyeing.Good flocculation effect can be achieved to treat acidity,active and direct dyeing wastewater.In comparison with other flocculations,its flocculation efficiency is superior to that of product in the current market.
