| Nylon 6(PA6) is a kind of very important engineering plastics, the crystallization modifier can regulate its crystalline structure and crystallization behavior, which has important influence on the final performance, this paper chose the low molecular weight polyethylene for crystallization modifier, low molecular weight polyethylene was studied on the crystallization of PA6 structure, crystal morphology, crystallization behavior and thermal stability, mechanical properties, the influence of the structure and performance of water absorption, etc.Compared with low molecular weight polyethylene structure similar alkanes compounds with high molecular weight polyethylene modified effect of PA6.Also studied the low molecular weight polyethylene modified effect of PA6 filling system.The results show that the very small amount of the addition of low molecular weight polyethylene, the crystallinity of PA6 in obvious increase.When the content of low molecular weight polyethylene for 0.6% of the time, the crystallinity of PA6 material increased by 16.5%;When the content of low molecular weight polyethylene for 0.6% of the time, and the gamma crystal content in PA6 crystallite size minimum at this time.Mechanical properties testing results show that when the content of low molecular weight polyethylene for 0.6% of the time, the system of the tensile strength and bending strength increased, the notched impact strength also doubled.Thermal deformation temperature and water absorption test results show that when the content of low molecular weight polyethylene for 0.6% of the time, thermal deformation temperature increase, the largest water absorption also reached the minimum at the same time.with low molecular weight polyethylene structure similar alkanes compounds(white oil, paraffin wax) and high molecular weight polyethylene(LDPE), the results of the analysis, found that only add low molecular weight polyethylene and paraffin and PA6 tensile strength, bending strength and notched impact strength increased to appear;And add the shortening and LDPE will have obvious change on the mechanical properties of PA6.Thermal deformation temperature of the test results show that: when to join the white oil, paraffin, low molecular weight polyethylene, thermal deformation temperature of PA6 increase obviously, and join the LDPE can make thermal deformation temperature drop of PA6.It shows that alkane modified effects of PA6 and its molecular weight size has a lot to do, only when within a certain range of molecular weight has significant modification effect.When low molecular weight polyethylene in PA6 filling system, found that the modification effects of PA6 / GF have obvious, when the low molecular weight polyethylene addition amount of 0.6%, compared to PA6 / GF, the tensile strength and bending strength have obvious improvement.When 0.6% of low molecular weight polyethylene as a supplement to the PA6 / titanium dioxide, titanium dioxide content of 2%, compared to mechanical properties of PA6 / did not change significantly low molecular weight polyethylene;But when titanium dioxide content was 6%, the notched impact strength of PA6 / low molecular weight polyethylene fell more obvious, so the amount of titanium dioxide is unfavorable and exorbitant. |
