Our country produce much sugar with a long history, filter mud in sugar cane mill is secondary product of cane sugar manufacture. Idle resources can be rather serious,it give enormous pressure to the environment. But nowdays, it is not completely used. Filter mud in sugar cane mill contains rich chlorophyll. Chlorophyll is one of the most extensive existing natuarl pigments in the earth, and it is usually stored in the green plant. The chlorophyll plays a key role in the photosynthesis of the green plate or the microorganism. Application prospect of chlorophyll and sodium zinc chlorophyll is good, the sodium zinc chlorophyll is a kind of natural pigment more ideal than chlorophyll,it not only has the function of the pigment, but also containing a zinc elements which is necessary to human body. Zinc can enhance the body's immune function, influence the growth and intellectual development of young children, protect myocardial cells and other functions. Sodium zinc chlorophyll is also widely used in the medicine and health product fields. In the international market, chlorophyll and sodium zinc chlorophyll still rise in price, supply falls short of demand. Therefore, the research doing on filter mud in sugar cane mill is not only bringing out a large amount of economic benefit and social benefits, but also of a great benefits on reducing environmental pollution of the sugar industry and development of waste recycling use.Firstly, In the extraction of chlorophyll from filter mud in sugar cane mill, volume fraction of 95% alcohol was used as extraction solvent. After doing lots of experiments on single factor and response surface methodology, the paper obtained the optimum conditions of the extraction of chlorophyll form the filter mud both through conventional solvent, enzymatic hydrolysis,ultrasound-assisted extraction. The optimum condition of dissolvent extraction are as follows:extraction temperature of 32?,extraction time of 2h and material to liquid ratio of 1:7 (g/mL), under these conditions, the extraction yield of chlorophyll was 0.192mg.g-1.As for enzymatic hydrolysis,The results indicated that more chlorophyll was extracted from filter mud by using both of the enzymes than using cellulase alone, the optimal conditions for extraction of chlorophyll were cellulase/pectinase ratio 2:1, their total dosage 1.6g/100 g, enzymolysis temperature of 49?, enzymolysis time of 3h and material to liquid ratio of 1:8(g/mL).Under these conditions, the extraction yield of chlorophyll was 0.211mg.g-1, compared with the traditional extraction, enzymatic hydrolysis extraction revealed an enhanced yield of chlorophyll by 8%.As for ultrasound-assisted extraction, the highest extraction quantity of chlorophyll from filter mud in sugar cane mill factories was obtained after solid-to-liquid ratio of 1:30 (g/mL) and ultrasound time of 20min and ultrasonic power of 800w. The result showed that the order of significant factors of chlorophyll extraction quantity was:ultrasonic power> ultrasound time>solid liquid ratio.Secondly study of the sodium zinc chlorophyll preparation. To extract chlorophyll solution as raw material, preparation of chlorophyll zinc sodium through saponification reaction? acidification?zinc generation reaction. The optimum condition for preparing sodium zinc chlorophyllin was that saponify temperature was 50 ?, saponify pH was 11,zinc replace time was 60min, zinc exchange pH was 3,temperature on zinc exchange was 60?,zinc exchange time 1.5h,20% zinc sulfate amount was 4mL,under this condition the yield of sodium zinc chlorophyllin was good.
