Nano-titanium dioxide has safe non-toxic, chemical stability, good photoelectric conversion and photocatalytic properties, and it is widely used in waste gas treatment, photocatalytic hydrogen production, solar cells, antibacterial and other fields. In this paper, mostly used routine for liquid phase synthesis methods of nanometer TiO2 (eg sol-gel method) need to go through the subsequent high-temperature heat treatment process to obtain crystals of TiO2, however, the microstructure and chemical composition of the product during the heat treatment will have some impact, and high energy consumption. Therefore, we use experimental techniques liquid phase deposition and hydrothermal synthesis combining at a lower temperature synthesis of nano high crystallinity TiO2, chemical synthesis to develop a greener, and the photocatalytic activity of nanometer TiO2 carried out relevant research. In the liquid phase deposition assisted hydrothermal experiments, using ammonium hexafluorotitanate ((NH4)2TiF6) as a titanium source, boric acid (H3BO3) as F- capture agent.Under different experimental parameters (reaction temperature, concentration, reaction time, etc.) were synthesized nanometer TiO2 powder. The phase properties, crystallization properties and microstructure of the samples were studied by X ray diffraction (XRD) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The results show that the product of hydrothermal assisted liquid phase deposition is anatase nanometer TiO2, and the morphology of the product is spherical. Under the suitable experimental conditions, the anatase TiO2 and the structure of {001} can be obtained. In addition, with the increase of the water temperature and the reaction time, the crystallinity of the product can be increased, but the concentration of the reactants can be decreased.Using the ultraviolet light to degrade methylene blue as reference to investigate the photocatalytic activity of the sample. When the experimental conditions is 150?, the reaction time is 6h, the concentration of the reaction solution was 0.05M [Ti] for preparing the sample, the degradation rate of methylene blue could reach 86.9 percent, slightly better than commercial P25. It reachs the best photocatalytic activity in UV irradiation 30min,...
