Material surface treatment is an economic applicable technology that can enhance the surface properties and extend the life of parts.Chrome plated is widely used in traditional surface treatment,but the electroplating process can produce toxic substances and release carcinogenic fumes which are harmful to the environment and workers' health.To solve this problem,it is necessary to study the new environmentally friendly and corrosion resistance wearproof surface treatment process.Plasma non-toxic chrome plated is a new technology put forward by the author.Experiments show that: the craft used plasma arc,special spray gun and CNC technology which can form a thin and distributed evenly of high chromium alloy layer on the metal surface,and in the process of forming alloy layer didn't lead to part deformation because of the high surface temperature.The main contents are as follows:(1)A new kind of environmentally friendly and corrosion resistance wearproof surface treatment process is proposed and designed to solve the serious defects in traditional industrial electroplating process.The article first introduces the current status of surface treatment technology in the world and analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of various methods,and then a plasma surface non-toxic chromium plating process is designed and implemented on the basis of existing technologies.(2)On the basis of in-depth study of the structure of the torch,the parameters of the torch nozzle structure are optimized by FLUENT software which lay a solid foundation to cover with a thin and uniform layer of high chromium alloy on the surface of the parts.(3)A new tungsten needle lumen powder feeder is designed.It is utilize the internal space of tungsten needle to complete the task of feeding power,making plasma gas passage ? the powder path ? shielding gas passage and cooling waterpassage perfect couple.This powder feeder significantly increases the alloy powder preheating time and removes water and impurities in the powder,which greatly enhance the quality of the alloy layer.(4)The research is about the control method of welding path.The paper presents that using CNC technology to control welding torch walking trajectory ?moving speed and distance can achieve the precise control of the torch motion path obtain reasonable thickness of the alloy layer.(5)Single-channel cladding process model is established to analyze the impact of process parameters on the quality of the alloy layer.And using a central composite experimental method achieved better technical parameters match.(6)The experimental results show that: the plasma non-toxic surface chrome plated technology can acquire the high chromium alloy layer thickness less than1 mm and the height difference does not exceed 0.3mm in cylindrical and flat surface type parts.
