Cermet anode is one of the most promising inert anodes for aluminum electrolysis at present,with good electrical conductivity,thermal shock resistance,and corrosion resistance.The effects of the metal phase composition on 40?Cu-Ni?-?NiFe2O4-10NiO?cermet sintering behavior and molten salt corrosion behavior have been studied mainly in this paper.Considering the reduction of the stability of NiFe2O4 matrix in the sintering process,the effects of additive MnO on 40?50Cu-Ni?-?NiFe2O4-10NiO?cermet sintering behavior and molten salt corrosion behavior have been studied.Besides,the ferrites of M0.1Ni0.9Fe2O4?M:Mg?Mn?Zn?Ni?have been synthesized,and the corrosion resistance of the ferrites in molten salt were investigated.The main results were shown as followed:?1?The NiFe2O4-10 NiO ceramic powders were synthesis by solid-state reaction method,and the cermet samples were prepared by pressing-sintering method and tested as inert anode for low-temperature electrolysis.It was found that Cu content in the metal phase directly influences the density and corrosion resistance of the cermet samples.Sintered at 1200? and 1000 ppm oxygen content in flow atmosphere,the 40?50Cu-Ni?-?NiFe2O4-10NiO?cermet sample has the maximum relative density and good corrosion resistance in low-temperature electrolysis,the impurity content aluminum is 0.61wt% after 24h-electrolyzed.?2?The effects of additive MnO on 40?50Cu-Ni?-?NiFe2O4-10NiO?cermet sintering behavior and molten salt corrosion behavior have been discussed.The results show that the cermet sample doped with 3wt%MnO in ceramic synthesis process has highest relative density and greatest corrosion resistance in electrolysis.?3?The ferrites of M0.1Ni0.9Fe2O4?M:Mg?Mn?Zn?Ni?were successfully synthesized.The corrosion behaviors of the ferrites in molten salt during unpolarized experiment have been discussed.The Mn0.1Ni0.9Fe2O4 sample has greater corrosion resistance than NiFe2O4 sample,and it has wide application foreground.
