Phenol is a kind of toxic, biological refracotory organic compounds. They have been widely used in the present industrial production, and were found in wastewater in a variety of industries like paper industry, petrochemical refineries, plastic production industry. The electrochemical catalytic oxidation technology has good prospects for treatment of wastewater that containing phenol. In this paper, the design of electrochemical reactor has been research, and the analysis of influence of microfluidic reactor on degradation process of phenol were carried out in the study.First of all, six kinds of DSA?Dimensionally Stable Anode? were chosen as the electro-catalytic anode, which were prepared by high temperature oxidartion method and electrodeposition method. Use CV and LCV curves to study the effect of the anodes behaviour. Ti/SnO2-Sb2O5 and Ti/Sn-Sb/PbO2 anodes were selected because of their high over oxygen potential and final removal rate?8090%? of phenol after 7hours.Second, microfluidic reactor was used to investigate the oxidation process under selected anodes. The effect of ?V?h?i were all stuided. The results show that the special geometric construction of reactor can promote the mass transport and it's only need 23 h to get a final removal rate of 90 %.The kinetics analysis of phenol degradation in microfluidic cell indicate that, the oxidation process is controlled by mass transport when the anode is Ti/SnO2-Sb2O5,and maby the anodic reaction is the key step of whole phenol degradation process if the Ti/SnO2-Sb2O5/PbO2 anode is been used.
