With the further research on the mechanism of biological phosphorus removal, the study found that in some biological phosphorus removal phenomenon can not be simply explained by traditional biological phosphorus removal theory,it also illustrates the alternating anaerobic/aerobic operation theory of biological phosphorus removal and the precise physiological mechanism of denitrifying phosphorus removal theory is still not clear,This study by the control variable of SRT on traditional SBR operation mode and glucose as the sole carbon source single stage aerobic mode of operation, distribution and research all kinds of forms of phosphorus and phosphorus extracellular polymeric relations, and further explore the biological removal mechanism of phosphorus, the results show that:(1)Under different SRT conditions, the floc unit mass of TP content with shorter SRT is reduced, floc main form of phosphorus is IP,and NAIP is the main form of phosphorus in the IP content of sludge, content of AP in floc is substantially within2.83 ~ 3.94 m /g range, accounting for 10.8% ~ 17.9% of TP.(2)Long sludge age showed higher phosphorus storage capacity in EPS.Components of EPS is the protein content of greater than polysaccharide content. The ratio of protein/polysaccharide is between 1.9 to 1.1,the content of phosphorus content in EPS is positively correlated with EPS content. It is can be considered liquid phase phosphorus are released from the EPS to the liquid phase from the macro. With SRT shortened from 20 d to 3d,?TP?release decreased from 10.9mg/g to 3.35mg/g,?TP?in EPS decreased from 11.20mg/g to 3.83mg/g,long sludge age showed higher amount of phosphorus release and phosphorus uptake.Phosphorus forms of IP and NAIP are more easily utilized by EPS and bacterial cells.SRT=10d conditions, biological phosphorus removal is best, phosphorus absorption rate of EPS reached81.85%,the value is greater than the value at SRT = 15 d and SRT =20d condition, the presumption SRT=10d condition easier to form dominant strains.(3)In the conventional SBR biological phosphorus removal system, the absorbability of phosphorus in EPS is greater than the absorbability of phosphorus in cell.In the activated sludge treatment system EPS by high cation of oxide or hydroxide binding phosphate is an important way to achieve biological phosphorus removal through.(4)With glucose as the sole carbon source,single-stage aerobic biological phosphorus removal system, removal rate is 61% of phosphorus, glycogen is the main energy source in single-stage aerobic biological phosphorus removal system.Floc, bacterial cells and EPS of phosphorus forms are mainly in the form of IP and NAIP is dominant, accounting for about 70% of IP content.IP and NAIP phosphorus forms more easily utilized by EPS and bacterial cells.(5)Single-stage aerobic biological phosphorus removal systems mainly phosphorus stored in a bacterial cell. The content of per unit mass of sludge of EPS was 22mg/g ~26mg/g,all kinds of forms of phosphorus mainly by absorption to remove the bacterial cells.Phosphorus absorption rate by bacterial cells from liquid is70.95%,which is greater than phosphorus uptake rate of 29.76% by EPS.(6)Enhanced biological phosphorus removal systems using bacterial cells adsorption and absorption of EPS way to effectively remove phosphorus, and thus both a way to strengthen by changing the operating mode and the water quality.phosphorus adsorption/binding of EPS is the most important way to remove phosphorus in traditional biological phosphorus removal process, phosphorus absorption of the bacterial cell is the most important way in a single-stage aerobic biological phosphorus removal phosphorus removal system.
