As indispensable technological means in machinery, shipbuilding, construction and other industries.welding process is widely used in modern industrial technology. However, in the welding process,there will be large amounts of complex components welding fumes from solder joints,which will cause disease in workers if volatile for long time,severely cause welder pneumoconiosis.Therefore,control and capture welding fume are very important to eliminate welders pneumoconiosis.The control and capture of welding fume are very important to factory machinery,for the difficulty problem of control and capture welding fume,this paper firstly analyze the composition,hazard and migration theory of welding fumes, acquire the conclusion that the composition of welding fume is complicated, contain CO, O3 and other poisonous gases,also contain Fe, Cu, Al and their compounds dust, welding fumes are harmful when inhaled into human body, can severely cause serious welders pneumoconiosis. Secondly,the paper makes a research about present ventilation situation in a Huainan machinery factory building, test the concentration of welding fumes of different points,find that present ventilation equipment can not control welding fumes completely in plant,welding fumes concentration maintain at 3?4 mg/m3, suspending in middle and top part of the plant for a long time. According to machinery plant status and field tests, this paper presents new dust exhaust ventilation program:upward ventilating, side and upward ventilating and sidewall air supply and upward ventilation. Then,to verify the feasibility of proposed ventilation program,this paper use Airpak simulation software to simulate the concentration of welding fumes within different ventilation programs and finds that the upper part of the main plant was full of welding fumes,at the height of 1.7m of the plant,upward ventilating concentration of suction scheme is 2?3 mg/m3,side and upward ventilating concentration of suction scheme is 1?2 mg/m3,sidewall air supply and upward ventilation concentration of suction scheme is 0?1 mg/m3,it is obviously that sidewall air supply and upward ventilation has a obvious effect to the control of welding rame.Finally,this paper presents suggestions for the control of welding fumes and personal occupational health to ensure physical and mental health for workers.Results of this study can provide scientific basis for the control of welding fume in machinery plant,and can be applied to engineering practice in machinery plant, and have some practical applications.
