Titanium alloy has good high temperature resistance,high specific strength,good corrosion resistance and other excellent characteristics.That makes it widely used in aerospace field.At the same time,the titanium alloy is difficult to machining materials.In the process,It exists many problem such as low processing efficiency,serious tool wear and large cost.With the rapid development of computer level,researchers who use the finite element software to simulate the machining process are more and more.But the software modeling process is complex,low accuracy and not easy to master.Therefore,the development of the simulation platform of titanium alloy high speed cutting can quickly and efficiently complete the modeling and analysis process.First this paper write kernel code and the graphical user interface code,and write the plug-in.And the simulation platform is integrated into Abaqus plug-in menu Secondly paper illustrates the use of different models of the simulation platform.Finally paper use the simulation platform to study the cutting features under different cutting parameters and tool angle in the process of titanium alloy high speed cutting.Using the Python script language to write programs,the user interface of titanium alloy high-speed cutting simulation platform is developed.It implements parameterized input with the material properties,cutting parameters and tool angle in the cutting processing,integrating with other modules completed development of the titanium alloy two-dimensional cutting simulation platform software.The results show that the cutting force and cutting temperature data error of experiment and simulation platform is small,verified the validity of the software.Through the research of chip shape,average cutting force and cutting temperature in the process of TC4 titanium alloy processing,analyzed the main factors of influence serrated chip are cutting speed,feed and the tool rake angle.The main factors of influence cutting force are feed and the tool rake angle.The main factors of influence the cutting temperature are cutting speed,feed and the tool rake angle.
