With the development of network communication technology and automated monitoring technology, it has become an important research direction for automation management of modern oil pipeline transport industry using the Internet and wireless transmission equipment remotely monitors cathodic protection system of oil pipeline. Through the development of cathodic protection remote monitoring system, managers can monitor the running status of the oil pipeline in real-time, and presume its running trend and locate the fault location promptly. On this basis, we can improve the automatic management level effectively, reduce operating cost of oil pipeline and get the comprehensive deployment between personnel and system equipment.Firstly, this paper researched and analyzed the current cathodic protection remote monitoring system development background, the significance and status of development at home and abroad. Through researching the current actual demand of oil pipeline transport sector, we decided to use the Windows platform, TCP / IP Socket communication technology and My Sql database to design the server of cathodic protection remote monitoring system.Secondly, this paper introduced the related theory, development language and key technologies involving the system server development. Then, we analyzed the actual functional requirements of cathodic protection remote monitoring system. On the basis, the overall architecture of the whole system were designed and its operation process was described in detail. Meanwhile, we introduced the design of the information collection terminal, mobile clients, PC client and server-side.Thirdly, this paper achieved the coding implementation of the design for the module of server-side login authentication, control lower computer, receive test data of cathodic protection system, storage test data of cathodic protection system, automatic management on ancillary facilities of cathodic protection system and database in.NET development platform.Finally, we tested the server function of cathodic protection remotely monitoring system by building a test environment in the actual project site. Our results showed that each functional module of the system server could run normally,which could meet the actual needs of users, so that we could achieve the purpose of remote real-time monitoring oil pipeline cathodic protection system.
