The vibration caused by the machining Process can change the size and direction of the cutting force, so that the stress field of the cutting tool is changed re Peatedly. So it is imPortant to study the mechanism of the vibration of the cutting tool, and the research will Provide a theoretical basis for the design of the anti- breakage tool.Firstly, the 3D geometry model of the solid carbide end mill is established. The natural frequency and vibration mode of the model were obtained by the finite element modal analysis. At the same time, the ex Perimental modal analysis was carried out to obtain the natural frequency of the model by the method of hammering. The results of the analysis are consistent with the results of the two analyses.Secondly, the orthogonal ex Periment scheme of measuring Process system was designed, which was used to collect synchronously the vibration signal and cutting force signal. In the acquisition Process, the signal of the X and Y axis of the tool was collected by the eddy current dis Placement sensor, and the Z axis was collected by Piezoelectric acceleration sensor.
