Polyurethane is one of the materials to replace the natural leather, it can make up for the deficiencies of natural leather, and it has been the most popular leather products. However, polyurethane still has a series of disadvantages, such as its poor heat resistance, ultraviolet resistant, poor solvent resistance and so on. It requires to explore and find a way to effectively modified polyurethane, which is the purpose of this research paper.Hyperbranched polymer has a series of advantages, such as the specific three-dimensional molecular structure, highly branched molecular chains and many end-group functional groups on the surface of the molecule and so on. After the hyperbranched polymer is added to the polyurethane, the properties of the polyurethane will be significantly improved. In recent years, the synthesis and application of hyperbranched polymers made a great progress, which makes the industrial production of hyperbranched polymer become maturity, and the application of hyperbranched polymers also has a series of promotional significances.The main work of the research:1. The synthesis and characterization of hyperbranched polyamine-ester?HPAE?AB2 monomer was prepared from succinic anhydride, diethanolamine, and use trimethylolpropane as the core molecular. Then the second, third, fourth hydroxyl-terminated hyperbranched polyamine-ester were synthesized through controlling the molar ratio between core molecular and AB2 monomer. The strcture of hyperbranched polyamine-ester were characterized by the test methods such as infrared spectrum, hydroxyl value determination, element analysis. After analyzing the synthetic product structures are more complete and are the ideal synthetic products.2. The synthesis and performance tests of the polyurethane slurry with different materialsThe various polyurethane slurry were synthesized through controlling the molar ratio between polytetramethylene ether glycol and polybutylene adipate diol. The mechanical properties of the various polyurethane slurry were evaluated. The results confirmed that when the PTMG was 40%, the mechanical properties of polyurethane slurry are more excellent than other contents.3.The modification of polyurethane slurryIn the article, HP-PDMS and HPAE modified polyurethane slurry were discussed. The mechanical properties, ultraviolet resistant, solvent resistance and heat resistance of the modified polyurethane slurry were tested.The results of HP-PDMS modified polyurethane slurry showed that the mechanical properties and heat resistance of polyurethane slurry reduced, and the ultraviolet resistant, solvent resistance improved. The results of HPAE modified polyurethane slurry showed that the heat resistance of polyurethane slurry reduced, and the mechanical properties, ultraviolet resistant, solvent resistance improved.As a result, the HPAE we synthesized can be considered as a proper additive to modify the properties of polyurethane slurry. And the modification effect is better than HP-PDMS.
