Sophora japonica,it is generally called the dry flower buds and flowers of leguminous plant trees (Sophora japonica L.).It is rich in a variety of active ingredients.the flavonoids among them were found in their strong antioxidant activity,and could inhibit the activity of the microorganism,which caused concern in recent years.Flavonoids extraction yield and total antioxidant capacity of sophora japonica extract were used as indicators respectively to optimize the alcohol extraction process conditions of sophora japonica; By comparing both antioxidant results of the final product,the total antioxidant capacity was the better index to optimize the alcohol extraction process conditions.And the sophora japonica extract was extracted by the optimum process finally.Then it investigated the extract on the activity of tyrosinase inhibition and antibacterial ability; And a sophora japonica emulsion was developed with the sophora japonica extract as raw materials. At the same time,its physical, chemical indicators and the skin feelings were evaluated along with its rheological properties and whitening and moisturizing efficacy evaluation.The results are as follows:1. The best alcohol extraction conditions were as follows with the index of the total flavonoids in sophora japonica:ethanol concentration was 70%(V/V), extraction time was 4h and extraction temperature was 70?;When the total antioxidant capacity (TAC)was the optimization index, the best alcohol extraction conditions were as follows:extracting time was 2h, extraction temperature was 70?, ethanol concentration was 86.7%.2. Two kinds of sophora japonica extract was measured on DPPH free radical clearance rate, reducing power, hydroxyl free radical clearance rate. It is found the antioxidant capacity of sophora japonica extract under the optimal process of TAC index (sample 2) was obviously higher than that of sophora japonica extract under the optimal process with the index of flavonoids extraction rate (sample 1).3. Sophora japonica have the ability to inhibit tyrosinase activity. The tyrosinase inhibition rate of the sophora japonica extract on the concentration of 0.3 mg/mL was 60.33%, compared with the same concentration of VC, on tyrosinase inhibitory effect than VC. Sophora japonica extract has certain inhibitory effect of growth on escherichia coli, staphylococcus aureus and pseudomonas aeruginosa, and it is relatively strong on the last one.4. Sophora japonica emulsion samples meet the emulsion physical standards and chemical index, higher score was getted in the skin sense evaluation experiments;In the rheological properties evaluation experiments, it is proved that sophora japonica emulsion5. samples can be easy to spread out;Compared with competing products, its structure is more stable. And it has higher temperature resistant, stronger ability to resist deformation than competing products. In the evaluation of the effect of sophora japonica emulsion samples test, sophora japonica emulsion can play a good role for skin moisturizing, melanin inhibiting,, increasing skin brightness.
