This paper aims to explore the preparation of high specific surface area amphoteric resin and its adsorption properties. Issue by suspension polymerization methods to synthesize polystyrene resin beads and by changing the cross-linking agent, porogen, dispersants and different stirring speed and other conditions to prepare a resin having a ball must resin bead diameter and a high specific surface area, synthetic out of the resin beads of particle size of 250?m-400?m. The use of BET method specific surface area of the resin were haracterized by the measured resin beads surface area reached 322.56 m2/g. Then using SEM on the fracture surface of the resin beads prepared were characterized to observe the internal pore structure of the resin beads inside the pores of the resin is more evenly distributed, and the content of the hole more. Then the resin beads were sulfonated, aminated resin beads graft function in groups with different characteristics. The resin after graft reaction along with the amine groups and sulfonic acid groups both functional groups, both functional groups of basic content ratio of 1:1. The total content of the resin functional group of up to 6.19mmol/g. And examines the high specific surface area of the adsorption properties of amphoteric resin beads of NaCl. The resin adsorption capacity NaCl reached 2.72mmol/g. The high specific surface area amphoteric resin beads have great potential applications in many areas of water treatment, chemical industry and chemical analysis.
