The normal operation of the cement rotary kiln is an important guarantee for the safety and high efficiency production of cement. Up to now, the research on cement production process of rotary kiln has reached a mature level. However, the research on the fault diagnosis of cement rotary kiln is still in the exploratory stage. The cement production process is complex and the environment is poor. Once a fault on cement rotary kiln happens and the fault is not resolved in a timely manner, it is likely to lead to a series of chain effects, resulting in more serious problems to the production of enterprises to bring huge benefits. Therefore, research on fault diagnosis of cement rotary kiln has great practical significance and practical value.Choosing a cement production site whose clinker production is 5000t/d as a research background, fault diagnosis system of cement rotary kiln is researched. Firstly, on the basis of understanding the process of cement production, the common faults of the cement rotary kiln are analyzed; the process parameters for the characterization of the fault are extracted; historical data are filtered; datum points are set. Secondly, a fault diagnosis method based on Case Based Reasoning(CBR) and fuzzy rule based reasoning is put forward according to the fault characteristics of the cement rotary kiln. The object oriented representation method of the fault case of cement rotary kiln is presented, which is convenient for the storage of fault cases in the background database; the two stage model of cement rotary kiln is established, and the retrieval efficiency is improved; the similarity calculation method based on Case Based Reasoning is studied; the learning and memory of the case are studied; according to the actual situation of the field, fuzzy rules are given, and the fuzzy rules are used for fuzzy reasoning; at the end of the algorithm research, the general diagnosis process is given. Finally, in implementation of the fault diagnosis system for cement rotary kiln, based on AC800 F controller, configure OPC Server, modify and configure OPC Client, collect process parameters to SQL database which can reflect the running state of cement rotary kiln, complete the background data collection section. Design and realize data acquisition sheets, fault diagnosis sheet and system manager sheet; in fault diagnosis of the front part, develop the whole fault diagnosis front desk, including system manager, fault diagnosis, data management and diagnosis results query. With the historical data, the simulation of the running state of the cement rotary kiln is completed; the fault diagnosis system is given the correct fault alarm, which proves the feasibility of the fault diagnosis algorithm and the fault diagnosis software of the cement rotary kiln.This system can real-time on-line monitor site parameters, can diagnose the fault state of cement rotary kiln and overcome the artificial off-line diagnosis, relying too much on the shortcomings of the individual operator level so this system has important application value.
